Stock Picks for Decembers 2016

 Firstly, Congrats to those who followed the stock picks recommendation mentioned in here Message from CaptainSMG on 5 Dec 2016 .

 From the Message from CaptainSMG, I mentioned about DRB, FGV, Datasonic, Pos & A-rank which traded higher in the next couple of days. I will not elaborate much on these counters as all the information and development are available in almost all business news portals.

 Some of you may have noticed that foreign investors are slowly returning to our markets. I will give credit to the cheap MYR valuation and the imminent Fed funds rate hike which has already been priced in. After tonight's, we should be seeing positive inflows in the coming months. Fingers crossed !!

 I've received a lot of feedback & suggestions to my mailbox and in private messages after my few postings. Well, I hear you. I will keep my non-sense short and focus mainly on stock picks for short and medium term.
Short-term (up to 1 month): WZsatu (1.20), Digistar (0.21) , Ekovest (2.63) , OWG (2.60), Axiata (5.00), Armada (0.75), Ajiya (0.72), AAX (0.43) , Affin (2.44), E-force (1.40)
Medium-term (up to 6 months) : Hibiscus (0.55), HapSeng Plantation (2.80), Ann Joo (3.00), Oka (1.50), WCT (2.10),  Dsonic (1.53), Ekovest (2.84), Prestariang (2.40), DRB (1.73), Media (1.40), Pos (4.55), A-rank (1.20)
I am sure many of you might have interest to know why Hibiscus's target price is RM 0.55 over medium term, which is 59% upside from today's closing (0.345).

 Good to collect for any levels below 0.36 TA wise.  Will keep you guys updated soon.

Media Prima - Another election's play counter?

Today's stock pick Media Prima (Current: 1.10) The reason why this counter is chosen is more of an election play. Current administration has not announced the date for coming election, therefore many people are left in quandary, this include the institutional players. I believe Avertising Expenses (adex) should pick up in the coming months soon after the election date is announced with more advertisement to feature under the list of of media companies of Media Prima. Stock Picks For March 2017

Good day to all my followers It's been quite awhile since my last update in this page and telegram channel. Well, I hoped that everyone who really followed my picks made money. Eg: Hibiscus, Dnex, A-rank, and almost 100% of short-term picks posted in December. Stock Picks for Decembers 2016   &    HIBISCUS & DNEX  Over the past 2 months in the Trump-era, we have seen the asset re-allocation from emerging market into developing market. This made the asset in emerging market look relatively attractive.
